This marks the fifth such audit since 2018, with previous audits occurring in 2020, 2022, and 2023. Deloitte’s rigorous inspection of NordVPN’s server infrastructure and IT systems concluded that the service does not log user data, a critical aspect of its privacy promise.

The audit, conducted between November and December 2024, involved comprehensive evaluations including employee interviews and assessments of server configurations and privacy settings. Deloitte verified NordVPN’s systems as “properly prepared,” ensuring that user activities remain unknown to the provider when connected.
