How to Watch Kraven the Hunter on Netflix in the US with a VPN (2026)

Kraven the Hunter (2024) is available on Netflix in the United Kingdom. The official Netflix UK movie page confirms the Marvel-based action thriller directed by J.C. Chandor and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, and Russell Crowe. The film explores the origins of Sergei Kravinoff, a man whose dangerous relationship with his father and extraordinary abilities transform him into a ruthless hunter.

Unfortunately, Kraven the Hunter is no longer available through Netflix US. According to JustWatch’s US streaming information, American viewers can currently watch the movie through Disney+ and fuboTV instead. Netflix UK continues to list the film in its subscription catalog, and Private Internet Access, ExpressVPN, and NordVPN all provide British VPN connections.

However, connecting to a UK VPN server does not guarantee access to Netflix UK’s movie library. Netflix may recognize VPN connections and limit the available catalog to titles with worldwide streaming rights. The company’s official VPN viewing policy also confirms that VPN connections do not work with ad-supported subscriptions. Users should follow Netflix’s licensing restrictions and their VPN provider’s terms when accessing regional content.

How to watch Kraven the Hunter on Netflix with a VPN

Netflix UK currently lists Kraven the Hunter, but actual playback depends on your physical location, subscription, account settings, and Netflix’s geographic restrictions. The following steps explain how to check the movie using an eligible VPN connection.

1. Choose a VPN provider. Private Internet Access is our first recommendation because of its documented British locations and streaming-optimized connection, followed by ExpressVPN and NordVPN.
2. Download and install the official VPN application on your Windows PC, Mac, smartphone, or another supported device.
3. Connect to a United Kingdom server if your physical location and provider terms permit it. PIA offers UK Streaming Optimized, ExpressVPN provides seven British locations, and NordVPN operates servers across four UK cities.
4. Fully close Netflix before changing your connection. Exit the Netflix application or close every browser tab running the streaming service.
5. Reopen Netflix after the VPN establishes a stable internet connection.
6. Sign in using your existing Netflix account and select your preferred viewing profile.
7. Search for Kraven the Hunter and confirm that the result identifies the 2024 movie starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe.
8. Start playback if Netflix displays the movie and your location, subscription, and applicable service terms permit access.

You can compare the search result with the official Kraven the Hunter listing on Netflix UK. The British page identifies the film as a 2024 action movie and provides English original audio, English audio description, Spanish, French, Hindi, Polish, and Tamil audio options.

Netflix UK also lists subtitles in Arabic, English, French, Hindi, Polish, and Ukrainian. The available languages may vary according to your profile settings, playback device, and licensing arrangements.

The film runs for approximately 127 minutes. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Sergei Kravinoff, whose complicated upbringing under his ruthless father shapes his understanding of power, survival, and justice.

Russell Crowe portrays Nikolai Kravinoff, a powerful criminal figure who expects his sons to embrace a life of violence. Fred Hechinger plays Sergei’s half-brother Dmitri, while Ariana DeBose appears as Calypso.

After a dangerous encounter with a lion, Sergei develops extraordinary physical abilities that allow him to hunt dangerous criminals. His pursuit of powerful enemies eventually brings him into conflict with individuals connected to his family’s past.

The supporting cast includes Alessandro Nivola as Aleksei Sytsevich, also known as the Rhino, and Christopher Abbott as the Foreigner.

Kraven the Hunter belongs to Sony’s Marvel-related film universe. It is different from Spider-Man: No Way Home, Morbius, and Venom, even though these movies feature characters associated with Marvel Comics.

Make sure you select the 2024 live-action film rather than an animated Spider-Man production featuring Kraven. Netflix licenses individual movies separately, so related titles may not share the same regional availability.

Opening an official Netflix movie page does not automatically authorize playback. Netflix may recognize an active VPN and restrict the available catalog. If Kraven the Hunter does not appear, follow the platform’s troubleshooting guidance rather than assuming another server will guarantee access.

Best VPNs for watching Kraven the Hunter on Netflix

Private Internet Access, ExpressVPN, and NordVPN all provide United Kingdom VPN connections. Their differences include available locations, streaming-related features, supported connection protocols, and server selection controls.

VPN	Server locations in the United Kingdom	Option to try first
Private Internet Access (Editor’s Choice)	UK London, UK Manchester, UK Southampton, UK Tottenham, UK Streaming Optimized	UK Streaming Optimized, where permitted
ExpressVPN	UK – Docklands, UK – East London, UK – London, UK – Manchester, UK – Midlands, UK – Tottenham, UK – Wembley	UK – London
NordVPN	Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester; 853 UK servers advertised	Automatic United Kingdom connection

PIA’s October 2026 server directory lists five British locations, including a dedicated streaming-optimized endpoint. ExpressVPN publishes seven UK locations, while NordVPN advertises 853 servers across four British cities.

These services can encrypt internet traffic and provide British IP addresses. However, their availability does not guarantee that Netflix will show Kraven the Hunter to American subscribers connecting from outside the United Kingdom.

1. Private Internet Access

Private Internet Access is our Editor’s Choice because it provides several documented British locations, offers a streaming-optimized connection, and supports flexible VPN protocol settings. Its official documentation also explains important restrictions that users should understand before connecting to streaming platforms.

According to the official PIA server directory, updated October 20, 2026, the provider lists five United Kingdom locations: UK London, UK Manchester, UK Southampton, UK Tottenham, and UK Streaming Optimized.

UK Streaming Optimized is the most relevant choice for users who want an endpoint configured for ordinary streaming performance. PIA designs its specialized streaming locations to provide stable connections with supported services.

However, a streaming-optimized connection does not guarantee that Netflix will display movies licensed exclusively for the United Kingdom.

For users physically located in the UK and authorized to use the connection, UK Streaming Optimized offers a sensible starting option. UK London provides a standard alternative, while Manchester, Southampton, and Tottenham offer additional choices for connectivity troubleshooting.

To select a server, open the PIA application and click the VPN SERVER section. Search for United Kingdom or enter streaming to locate the specialized endpoint. Select your preferred location and activate the VPN connection.

The PIA Windows application guide explains how to use the server selector, inspect connection information, and adjust VPN settings.

Users can also review latency estimates before connecting. Lower latency may improve responsiveness, although server congestion and network routing can influence actual performance.

PIA supports WireGuard and OpenVPN, giving users two established VPN protocols.

WireGuard provides efficient encrypted networking with relatively low overhead. Its design makes it a practical starting option for users who prioritize connection responsiveness.

OpenVPN offers another established option when particular routers, networks, or devices behave differently with WireGuard.

Changing protocols may improve ordinary connection stability, but it cannot change Netflix’s regional licensing agreements or guarantee access to a specific movie.

PIA also distinguishes between physical and virtual VPN locations. A virtual location provides an IP address associated with one country while hosting the underlying server in another.

The company’s official virtual server documentation lists the countries where it uses virtual infrastructure.

The United Kingdom does not appear on that list. PIA therefore does not identify its British connections as virtual locations hosted in another country.

However, the documentation does not establish the precise physical data center address of every individual British server.

Streaming performance depends on internet speed, Wi-Fi quality, network congestion, server load, and device capabilities. A location with a low latency estimate may feel responsive, but performance can change during periods of heavy traffic.

If ordinary streaming becomes unstable, PIA recommends clearing browser cookies and cached files, reconnecting to the VPN, and updating its application.

The company’s official streaming support documentation explains these steps.

There is also an important restriction. PIA instructs customers to connect to a VPN server matching the country where they are physically located.

The company expressly prohibits using its service to circumvent geographic restrictions imposed by content providers.

Consequently, American Netflix subscribers should not interpret PIA’s British server availability as permission to bypass Netflix’s regional licensing rules.

PIA remains a useful privacy service with multiple UK locations, a streaming-optimized endpoint, and flexible protocol settings. However, it cannot guarantee that Kraven the Hunter will appear or play through Netflix UK from the United States.

2. ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN ranks second because it provides seven officially documented UK server locations, supports modern connection protocols, and offers straightforward controls for selecting different endpoints.

According to the official ExpressVPN server directory, the provider lists UK – Docklands, UK – East London, UK – London, UK – Manchester, UK – Midlands, UK – Tottenham, and UK – Wembley.

For users authorized to connect through the United Kingdom, UK – London provides a practical starting location. UK – Manchester and UK – East London offer alternatives when the initial endpoint encounters ordinary network problems.

Docklands, Midlands, Tottenham, and Wembley provide additional choices for comparing latency, routing, and connection stability.

To establish a connection, open ExpressVPN and select the VPN location picker. Search for United Kingdom, choose one of the documented locations, and wait until the application confirms that the connection is active.

ExpressVPN also provides automatic server selection. However, this feature may recommend another country. Users who specifically need an authorized British connection should select the UK manually.

The provider’s UK locations support Lightway UDP, Lightway TCP, WireGuard, OpenVPN UDP, and OpenVPN TCP. Its server directory also identifies IKEv2 availability on compatible platforms.

Lightway is ExpressVPN’s proprietary VPN protocol. It focuses on efficient encrypted networking and quick reconnection when devices switch networks.

WireGuard offers another efficient option on compatible devices, while OpenVPN provides an established alternative for routers and networks that require different connection configurations.

The choice of protocol can influence connection stability, responsiveness, and battery consumption. However, it cannot change the streaming rights Netflix holds in the United Kingdom.

ExpressVPN also distinguishes between physical server locations and virtual infrastructure. Its official virtual server documentation explains that some VPN destinations provide an IP address associated with one country while the physical hardware operates elsewhere.

The current ExpressVPN server directory does not identify its British locations as virtual endpoints. However, a location label such as Docklands or Wembley does not establish the exact physical address of a server.

ExpressVPN also publishes information about upgraded high-capacity infrastructure in certain locations. Higher server capacity may help reduce congestion, but it does not mean every user will receive identical download speeds.

For ordinary streaming performance, users should prioritize a stable connection rather than assume that one protocol or endpoint will always provide the fastest speeds.

Wi-Fi interference, internet service quality, network routing, background downloads, and device limitations can all influence buffering and video playback.

If Netflix fails to load while ExpressVPN is active, users should confirm that their regular internet connection works, restart the streaming application, and check for VPN updates.

ExpressVPN’s official Netflix troubleshooting documentation explains how to address common connection problems.

The provider also instructs customers to select a VPN server matching the country where they are physically located and prohibits circumventing geographic restrictions imposed by content providers.

This restriction matters for American subscribers. Although ExpressVPN operates seven British locations, their availability does not establish permission to access movies licensed exclusively for Netflix UK.

Even with an authorized connection, Netflix may recognize VPN traffic and restrict the available titles to movies with worldwide streaming rights.

ExpressVPN provides useful privacy and connectivity features, but it cannot guarantee that Kraven the Hunter will appear or play through Netflix UK’s catalog.

3. NordVPN

NordVPN takes third place in our comparison. It provides extensive British server coverage, automatic server selection, the NordLynx protocol, and SmartPlay functionality.

According to NordVPN’s official UK server page, the provider advertises 853 British servers across Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Manchester.

These four cities provide multiple choices for establishing a UK VPN connection. The advertised server count reflects NordVPN’s published inventory at the time of research and may change.

To connect, open NordVPN and select United Kingdom from the country list or map. The application can automatically choose an available server based on connection conditions.

Users who prefer a particular city can open the additional country options and select Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, or Manchester.

London offers a practical starting location for authorized connections, while Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow provide alternatives when users experience ordinary connectivity problems.

NordVPN uses NordLynx, its WireGuard-based VPN protocol, to provide efficient encrypted networking. NordLynx aims to reduce connection overhead while maintaining privacy and security.

Actual speeds depend on internet service quality, server congestion, network routing, and the capabilities of the device running the VPN application.

Another relevant feature is SmartPlay. According to NordVPN’s official SmartPlay documentation, SmartPlay activates automatically whenever users connect through the NordVPN application.

SmartPlay combines VPN encryption with DNS-related functionality to support private access to compatible streaming services.

It hides the user’s public IP address, encrypts internet traffic, and manages DNS-related functions as part of the regular VPN connection.

Unlike standalone SmartDNS configurations, SmartPlay requires no separate activation. It operates automatically after the VPN connection starts.

However, SmartPlay does not guarantee that Netflix will display movies licensed exclusively for another country.

Netflix may still recognize the VPN connection, restrict the available catalog, or show a playback error.

If NordVPN encounters ordinary network problems, users can restart the application, manually select another available UK server, or review the active connection protocol.

NordVPN also provides specialty servers, including Double VPN and Onion Over VPN. These serve different privacy needs and should not be confused with locations specifically verified for Netflix playback.

For Kraven the Hunter, NordVPN’s British server network confirms that the provider offers connections in the relevant country. It does not establish that American Netflix subscribers can access the movie through Netflix UK.

What to do if Kraven the Hunter does not appear

Kraven the Hunter may not appear in Netflix search results even when an official British movie page exists. Regional licensing, VPN recognition, profile settings, and outdated application sessions can influence which titles Netflix displays.

1. Close Netflix completely, including open browser tabs and background application sessions.
2. Disconnect from your current VPN connection.
3. Reconnect to the United Kingdom if your physical location and provider terms authorize that connection.
4. Try another officially documented UK server or location when troubleshooting an ordinary network connection problem.
5. Clear Netflix cookies and your browser cache to remove outdated session information.
6. Open a fresh incognito or private browsing window.
7. Reopen Netflix and sign in using your existing account.
8. Search for Kraven the Hunter and confirm that the result identifies the 2024 film starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

PIA users can compare UK Streaming Optimized with UK London, UK Manchester, UK Southampton, or UK Tottenham when their physical location and provider terms permit it.

ExpressVPN users can select UK – London, UK – East London, UK – Manchester, or another officially documented British endpoint. NordVPN users can compare London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

These alternatives may resolve temporary server congestion or ordinary connectivity failures. However, switching VPN servers cannot guarantee access to movies restricted by Netflix’s regional licensing agreements.

Netflix explains in its missing movie troubleshooting guide that titles may disappear because of licensing restrictions, VPN detection, maturity settings, or profile language preferences.

Make sure you are searching for the correct film. Kraven the Hunter (2024) stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Sergei Kravinoff, Russell Crowe as Nikolai Kravinoff, and Ariana DeBose as Calypso.

The cast also includes Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, and Christopher Abbott. Netflix UK uses the original English title Kraven the Hunter.

Because the film contains graphic violence and mature action sequences, restrictive viewing profiles may not display it. Netflix UK assigns the movie a 15 classification.

If Netflix reports an unsupported VPN or proxy connection, follow its instructions and disconnect the VPN. This may restore your regular Netflix US catalog, although Kraven the Hunter will remain unavailable there unless Netflix reacquires the appropriate streaming rights.

Netflix may detect the VPN

A VPN changes the public IP address websites observe by routing internet traffic through a remote server. When someone connects to a British VPN endpoint, websites may identify the connection as originating from the United Kingdom.

However, Netflix does not automatically grant access to the complete British movie catalog based solely on the apparent IP address.

The streaming platform enforces regional licensing agreements and may recognize connections coming from commercial VPN infrastructure.

According to Netflix’s official VPN and proxy error documentation, viewers may receive an error asking them to turn off their VPN connection.

Netflix may also restrict the visible library to movies and television shows with worldwide streaming rights.

This explains why Kraven the Hunter may remain missing even when a VPN reports a successful connection to the United Kingdom.

Private Internet Access, ExpressVPN, and NordVPN can encrypt internet traffic and provide alternative public IP addresses. However, none controls Netflix’s regional licensing agreements or guarantees access to a particular movie.

Can you use a Netflix ad-supported plan with a VPN?

No. Netflix does not support VPN connections with its ad-supported streaming experience.

Subscribers using these plans may encounter playback errors when Netflix identifies an active VPN or proxy connection.

According to Netflix’s ad-supported VPN error documentation, users should disconnect their VPN to resolve the unsupported connection.

An ad-free Netflix subscription avoids this particular plan restriction, but it does not guarantee access to another country’s movie catalog.

Netflix may still recognize VPN traffic, restrict the available titles, or prevent playback when a movie lacks worldwide streaming rights.

Upgrading to an ad-free subscription should therefore not be considered a guaranteed method for accessing Kraven the Hunter through Netflix UK.

Does changing the VPN location change your Netflix account?

Changing your VPN location does not automatically modify your Netflix email address, password, billing information, subscription country, or saved viewing profiles.

The VPN changes the public IP address associated with your internet connection. Netflix may interpret that address as belonging to another country, but your account itself remains unchanged.

Netflix catalogs differ because studios and distributors license movies separately for different geographic territories.

Kraven the Hunter illustrates this distinction. Netflix UK lists the movie, while Netflix US no longer includes it in its subscription catalog.

Netflix’s account country documentation explains that subscribers generally cannot change their account country unless they move to another country.

VPN recognition may also restrict the available library regardless of the country associated with the connection’s visible IP address.

For American viewers, current US streaming alternatives for Kraven the Hunter include Disney+ and fuboTV.

Viewers can also rent or purchase the film through authorized digital services, including Amazon Video, Apple TV Store, and Fandango At Home.

These alternatives provide straightforward ways to watch the movie without relying on another country’s Netflix catalog.

Which VPN should you use?

Private Internet Access is our first recommendation because it offers UK London, UK Manchester, UK Southampton, UK Tottenham, and UK Streaming Optimized connections, along with WireGuard and OpenVPN support. These features provide flexible options for privacy and ordinary networking. However, PIA instructs users to connect to servers matching their physical country and prohibits circumventing geographic streaming restrictions. It cannot guarantee access to Netflix UK from the United States.

ExpressVPN ranks second with seven documented British locations, including Docklands, East London, London, Manchester, Midlands, Tottenham, and Wembley, alongside Lightway, WireGuard, and OpenVPN support. NordVPN comes third with 853 advertised British servers across Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Manchester, plus NordLynx and automatically enabled SmartPlay. Both offer useful privacy and connectivity features, although Netflix may still detect their connections and restrict regional movies.

As of October 31, 2026, Kraven the Hunter (2024) has a verified public Netflix UK listing and appears in JustWatch UK’s catalog, while Netflix US no longer carries it. Regional licensing, VPN recognition, subscription restrictions, and provider terms can prevent playback through international connections. American viewers can instead watch the film through Disney+, fuboTV, or authorized digital rental services.
